Affiliate Program Terms
Last Updated: November 26, 2025
EmpireDrop offers an Affiliate Program that allows users to refer new players to the platform in exchange for commissions. Participation in the affiliate program is optional. If you choose to become an affiliate (sometimes called a “partner”), you must abide by both the general Terms of Service and the specific terms in this section. In the event of any conflict between these Affiliate Program Terms and Terms of Service, with respect to affiliate matters, these Affiliate Program Terms will govern for affiliate-related issues.
Enrollment and Eligibility
- To join the Affiliate Program, you must have an active EmpireDrop account in good standing and access the affiliate dashboard on the Website. By creating or using any affiliate code or link, you accept these Affiliate Terms.
- Participation is subject to our approval. We may accept or decline any application and may at any time suspend or disable affiliate features on your account, including where we consider your activity to be risky, non-compliant or inactive.
- You must be at least 18 years old and must not be located in, or otherwise associated with, any Restricted Territory as defined in the Terms of Service. If local law prohibits participation in referral or affiliate programs, you may not take part.
Referral Codes and Links
- As an affiliate, you may create unique referral codes and associated links through your affiliate dashboard. You may usually have up to four (4) active codes at any time unless we expressly allow more. Each code corresponds to an invite link that you can share.
- New users become your referred users when they register using your referral link or enter your code during registration or in the designated “referred by” field, in each case as recorded by our systems.
- Referral attribution is typically based on cookies or similar tracking technologies and on users entering your code. At present, cookies and code attribution normally last up to thirty (30) days from the relevant click or registration, but we may change this period. The current attribution rules and any applicable time limits are shown in your affiliate dashboard and may be updated from time to time.
- A referred user may be required to become active within a specified period, currently thirty (30) days from registration, for you to be eligible for commissions. We may also suspend or stop commission accrual for referred users who become inactive for extended periods and resume it if they return to active use, as set out in your dashboard.
Commission Structure, Earnings and Payment
- We may offer different commission models, including:
- Revenue Share (Rev Share): Under this model, you earn a percentage of the net revenue generated by your referred players. Net revenue is generally defined as the gross amount wagered by the player minus any payouts (prizes withdrawn) and possibly minus certain costs. The exact percentage for rev share will be specified in your affiliate dashboard or agreement. Rev share commissions typically accumulate over the lifetime of the referred player’s activity, as long as they remain active and you remain an affiliate in good standing.
- Wagering Share (Wager Share): Under this model, you earn a percentage of the total amounts spent by your referred players.
- The commission model(s), rates, tiers, eligibility criteria and any specific rules (such as which actions qualify, any caps, and whether negative revenue is carried forward) are described in your affiliate dashboard or in a separate written agreement, and may differ between affiliates or codes. Actual commission rates and tiers for EmpireDrop’s Affiliate Program are those displayed in your affiliate dashboard or agreed with you in writing; any generic examples or ranges in our marketing or FAQ materials are for illustration only.
- Unless we specify otherwise, we generally apply a “no negative carryover” approach for standard Rev Share: if net revenue for a period is negative, your commission for that period is treated as zero rather than a negative amount. We may depart from this rule in customised affiliate deals. Wager Share is never negative because it is volume-based.
- As your referrals play, commissions accrue to a separate affiliate balance visible in your affiliate dashboard. The affiliate dashboard also shows key statistics about your referred players and earned commissions. This affiliate balance is separate from your main playing balance. Commissions typically become available as soon as the referred player completes the relevant action. However, we may delay crediting or paying commissions on transactions that are reversible until we are reasonably satisfied that the underlying transaction will not be reversed or charged back.
- You may claim available affiliate earnings via the dashboard, subject to any minimum payout threshold shown there. Once claimed, commissions are credited to your main EmpireDrop balance and treated as withdrawable funds under our standard withdrawal rules. We pay commissions in EUR or in the EUR-equivalent in cryptocurrency at the time of withdrawal, as indicated in the dashboard, and in some cases may agree alternative payout arrangements with high-volume affiliates in a separate written agreement.
- We may adjust, withhold or reclaim commissions if we discover errors, fraud, abuse, self-referrals, chargebacks, refunded deposits, violations of these Affiliate Terms or the Terms of Service, or other activity that, in our reasonable opinion, should not generate commissions.
Affiliate Conduct and Restrictions
We require that you uphold certain standards when promoting us:
- Accurate Promotion: You must not make false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about EmpireDrop. Do not promise guaranteed profits, “rigged wins,” or any outcome that is not factual. Any advertising should reflect the actual nature of our platform.
- Use of Materials: We may provide you with marketing assets (images, banners, logos). You can use these to promote EmpireDrop. Do not alter our logo or official graphics without permission, and do not create fake branding that confuses EmpireDrop with another entity. If you create your own content (videos, blogs) to promote EmpireDrop, ensure it’s clear and not defamatory or offensive. You must remove or update promotional materials if we request.
- No Spam: You must not spam others with your referral links. This includes no unsolicited bulk emails, no spamming forums or social media comments, and no harassing individual users with invites. You should adhere to each platform’s rules when promoting. If we receive complaints or evidence that you are spamming or using abusive marketing methods, we may terminate your affiliate status.
- No Bidding on Branded Terms: Unless authorized, you should not bid on search engine keywords that are our trademarks for advertising, and you should not create impersonating social media accounts or domains.
- Geo-Compliance: You must not knowingly target any Restricted Territory as defined in the Terms of Service.
- Content Restrictions: Do not promote EmpireDrop on websites or channels that contain illegal content, hate speech, adult content (unless expressly approved by us in writing), or anything that would reflect extremely poorly on our brand. Also, do not use your referral link in contexts that violate another site’s terms of service.
- Self-Referral and Abuse: You may not use your own affiliate code on your own account or attempt to game the system by referring yourself or creating multiple accounts that refer each other. This is considered fraud. You also must not conspire with others to swap referrals in a way meant to exploit referral rewards without genuine new users. The affiliate program is intended to bring new players to EmpireDrop, not to funnel benefits among existing users. If we detect self-referral or collusion, we will void those commissions and possibly ban accounts.
- Referral Incentives: Some affiliates offer giveaways or kickbacks to those who use their code. EmpireDrop does not prohibit sharing some of your commission with players as an incentive, but you must do so transparently and legally. You cannot promise something on our behalf that we are not giving. If you offer private incentives, that is between you and the user; we won’t mediate if you fail to pay them or vice versa, but if it causes issues, we might intervene by cautioning or banning your affiliate account for causing confusion or disputes.
- Confidentiality: If you are given any private information by EmpireDrop as an affiliate, you should not disclose it publicly without permission.
Termination of Affiliate Status
EmpireDrop reserves the right to terminate or modify the Affiliate Program (or an individual affiliate’s participation) at any time. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to: violation of these Affiliate Terms or general Terms of Service, inactivity, fraud or suspected fraud, damage to EmpireDrop’s reputation due to an affiliate’s actions, legal/regulatory changes requiring termination, or a business decision to end the program.
- If your affiliate account is terminated for cause (misconduct or violation), any pending or unpaid commissions may be forfeited at EmpireDrop’s discretion. You will also lose access to the affiliate dashboard, and any tracking links will cease to function or credit you.
- If the entire affiliate program is discontinued by EmpireDrop, we will attempt to provide notice. Legitimately earned commissions up to the termination date would still be paid out in that case, assuming no violations.
- If you (the affiliate) wish to stop being an affiliate, you can simply stop promoting and/or contact us to disable your codes. If you stop but still have active referrals, those players remain tied to EmpireDrop, and EmpireDrop may decide whether commissions continue to be paid on their activity.
30-Day Reactivation Rule
EmpireDrop employs a 30-day reactivation requirement for referred players. This means when a new user signs up with your referral code, they become linked to you as the referrer. However, that linkage may expire after 30 days if the user remains inactive. In practice, a new user must become active (typically by making a deposit or participating meaningfully) within the first 30 days, or the referral link might expire.
Dormant accounts
If a referred player becomes dormant (no deposits or activity) for over 30 days, affiliates might stop earning commission from them unless they are reactivated. “Reactivated” would mean the player resumes play or deposits again after the inactivity. Once they play again, commissions resume from that point (the link between affiliate and player isn’t lost if they had activity before, but the commission might not accumulate during periods of inactivity, depending on program rules).
Affiliate Inactivity
Similarly, if you, as an affiliate, do not bring in any new active users or have no affiliate activity for an extended period, EmpireDrop might mark your affiliate account as inactive. In such cases, we might lower your commission rate or eventually close your affiliate account.
Referral Code Limits
EmpireDrop allows an affiliate to create up to 6 referral codes (or links) at any given time. The rules for code limits:
- You cannot exceed the allowed number of codes simultaneously active. If you need more codes beyond the limit, you’d have to request special permission from EmpireDrop (usually granted only to significant partners).
- You may edit or delete existing codes if you want to recycle them for different campaigns.
- Each code can have customizable text. EmpireDrop might reserve the right to reject certain code names if inappropriate or misleading.
- All codes you create ultimately link to the same account (yours). The multiple codes are just for convenience and tracking; they don’t increase or change your commission beyond letting you know which code a user came from.
- If you attempt to circumvent the 4-code limit by making more accounts (to get more codes), that’s a violation (multiple account issue and affiliate abuse).
- If needed for an event or special campaign, EmpireDrop might temporarily allow an extra code, but that would be explicitly communicated.
Changes to Affiliate Program
EmpireDrop may modify any aspect of the affiliate program at any time. We will try to notify active affiliates of major changes (via email or dashboard notice) in advance. Minor changes or clarifications may be posted in the Terms or affiliate page without direct notice. It’s your responsibility to review communications and keep up with any changes. If a change is unacceptable to you, your only recourse is to cease participating (stop referring new players, and perhaps request the closing of the affiliate account). Continuing to use affiliate links after a change constitutes acceptance.
No Employment or Agency
Participating in the affiliate program does not make you an employee, agent, or legal representative of EmpireDrop. You are an independent party. You have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on our behalf. You shall not make any statement that suggests a partnership, joint venture, or any special relationship beyond that of an independent affiliate. You are responsible for your own business activities, marketing expenses, and compliance with laws in promoting EmpireDrop.
Affiliate Account Security
Your affiliate dashboard is accessed via your EmpireDrop login. You must keep your credentials secure and not share them with anyone. If you suspect any unauthorized access or if your account is compromised, inform us immediately. We can freeze payouts if needed until it’s resolved.
